Monday Harbor Cruises

Monday Harbor Cruises are back!

Join us for a 90-minute, narrated cruise around Boston Harbor aboard the M/V Columbia Point. Enjoy incredible views of the Harbor Islands, Revolutionary era forts, and Downtown Boston. Narration, fun facts, and occasional jokes will be provided by UMass Boston's Division of Marine Operations.

Four dates are available this summer and fall. The M/V Columbia Point heads out rain or shine, except in cases of extreme weather. Students, faculty, staff, and members of the public are welcome!

Dates & Times

Mondays: July 22, August 26, September 23 & October 21
12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure. Boat lives at 12:00 p.m. sharp, no exceptions.

Location

Cruises depart from the Fox Point Boat Dock, located adjacent to University Drive between Wheatley and McCormack Halls.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased in advance or available on a first come, first-served basis at dock 30 min before boarding.

  • Faculty/Staff: $10.00
  • Community/Guests: $15.00

Getting There

If you're driving, navigate to and park in the West Garage then walk down University Drive South to the Fox Point Boat Dock. More Parking Information Here

If you're using transit, take the MBTA Red Line to the JFK/UMass stop and board a UMass Boston shuttle. Ask to be let off at the Integrated Sciences Center then walk down University Drive South to the Fox Point Boat Dock. More Transit Information Here

If you're walking, head to the main campus entrance at 100 Morrissey Boulevard and take the Harborwalk directly to the Fox Point Boat dock.
