Canvas Training and Resources
All faculty now have access to Canvas! Once you log in to your account with your UMB email credentials, you will find the "Sail with Canvas" introductory course to help you learn the basic functionality, a sandbox/development shell to practice with Canvas, and any courses you are scheduled to teach through WISER. More training resources are listed below.
Canvas Access URL
Courses scheduled in WISER will automatically appear in Canvas. Faculty who have chosen to teach with Canvas (and their students) can access Canvas using UMass Boston credentials at: https://umassboston.instructure.com
Introductory Training Sessions
To help faculty get up to speed with Canvas, several online training sessions were offered by Canvas representatives. The first session recordings are available below and can be useful for learning Canvas alongside other resources:
