Non-Tenure Track Faculty
Our non-tenure track faculty are valued instructors at UMass Boston. We sincerely appreciate the teaching expertise they bring to our classrooms, and we recognize their commitment and dedication to our students. We also value the many ways in which non-tenured faculty contribute to the broader UMass Boston community, including fostering academic excellence and enriching campus life through their dedication and service.
Non-tenure faculty are first hired as Associate Lecturers. Subsequent ranks include Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Senior Lecturer II, and Senior Lecturer III.
