Tracy Paskiewicz
Biography
Dr. Tracy Paskiewicz, NCSP (she/her/hers) is a Senior Lecturer at UMass-Boston in the Department of Counseling, School Psychology & Sport, and she is a practicing school psychologist in Massachusetts. She consults with local school districts to build capacity of school psychologists in completing autism-specific assessments.
Additional Information
Dr. Paskiewicz's professional interests include fairness in assessment, training, supervision, mentoring, and professional development of school psychologists, autism and neurodiversity, and inclusive language for report writing. She authors professional test reviews, contributes to book chapters and peer reviewed journal articles, and presents locally and nationally related to these topics. She contributes to training grants supported by the United States Department of Education to prepare school-based mental health providers and early childhood education professionals. Her clinical work includes neurodiversity-affirming assessment practices grounded in cultural humility, including accessible reports and family feedback using therapeutic assessment strategies. She completes diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults in schools and in private practice.
Professional service includes the Ethics Committee of the Massachusetts School Psychology Association (MSPA) and the Massachusetts School Psychology Trainers group (MA-SPT). She is also a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and the American Psychological Association (APA).
