Additional Information

Seth Hamlin has been playing music professionally since he was 15. He is a freelance trombone and euphonium player in the Boston area performing in a wide variety of styles from Classical to Rock to Latin. His experiences include Assistant Principal Trombone in the Orquesta Sinfonica del Estado de Mexico, the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, and the Boston area group Brass Planet of which he is a founding member and composer. He holds degrees in Trombone from New England Conservatory and the University of Southern California and a diploma in Film Scoring from the Berklee College of Music.

Mr. Hamlin is also a composer and arranger working in styles ranging from orchestral to pop music. His compositions are heard in live performance and recordings with symphony orchestras and chamber groups in the Boston area. Recently his orchestral piece Civil War was performed with the Hillyer Festival Orchestra and the Waltham Symphony.
