Scott Shea
Biography
With over a decade of experience spanning public and private higher education, Scott serves as the Director of Campus Center & Event Services at UMass Boston. His extensive background includes roles in student development/engagement, event management, and student center operations across institutions such as Northeastern University, Salem State University, North Shore Community College, and Wesleyan University. Scott has also served as adjunct faculty at Goodwin University and Southern Connecticut State University. He is an active member of the Association for College Unions International (ACUI), where he serves as a volunteer both regionally and nationally.

Additional Information
At UMass Boston, Scott leads a team overseeing event scheduling, conference services, and the management of diverse meeting spaces. Managing the day-to-day operations of one of the nation's largest Campus Centers, Scott is dedicated to its mission as both a"living room" and an experiential learning environment for students. As a first-generation college graduate from the South Shore of MA, Scott is deeply committed to enhancing UMass Boston's impact in the City of Boston, particularly in promoting an anti-racist and health-promoting culture. Outside of his professional endeavors, Scott enjoys running, exploring new destinations, and indulging his passion for film.
