Michelle Irene Polanco Pereira is the current Coordinator of the TAG | ALERTA Program. Michelle has been part of the program since 2012, she was an O'bryant TAG Club Student, Summer Teaching Assistant, and Saturday Academy Project Assistant. Both TAG and Project ALERTA were apart of her family's history years before her, having family members graduate and attribute TAG | ALERTA as an important part of their lives. Born and raised by Honduran parents, at an early age was taught of the importance of obtaining a good education and became a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. She has always had a passion for serving her community, but through her work at TAG, she discovered her need to serve the Latinx youth of her community. Currently, she is working hard with her team to prepare for the TAG | ALERTA Summer program, supporting students for the next school year as well as our next generation of leaders.
