Karen Chi (she/her/hers) is the Associate Director of the University of Massachusetts Boston's federally funded Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institution (AANAPISI) grant project. She was previously the project's Program Coordinator since 2019 and is an alumna of AARO where she was also a student employee. Karen is currently pursuing an MS in Critical Ethnic and Community Studies from UMass Boston. She holds a BA in Ethics, Social and Political Philosophy from UMass Boston. Karen is a 1.5 generation Chinese American who immigrated to the U.S. with her family and grew up in the Berkshires.
