Biography
Gene Shwalb is currently Principal Learning Designer in UMass Boston's Learning Design Services. Prior to that, he was Manager of UMass Boston's eLearning and Instructional Support team. He has been part of UMass Boston since 2007 and served as an adjunct instructor in the Instructional Design Faculty from 2007 to 2018. Before coming to UMass Boston, he was Manager of Education at the Eastman Software Company, Implementation Consultant at Filemark, Inc., Executive Director of Hospice West of Waltham, Division Controller of Clean Harbors, Accounting Manager of Houghton Mifflin, and a CPA at Coopers & Lybrand.
