Christine Salvucci is educated as a clinical nurse specialist in community health and her experience has covered intensive care, medical surgical nursing, and community health. She has been teaching in nursing for over 20 years with a focus on curriculum development and program evaluation and is an item writer for the National League for Nursing CNE and CNEcl examination. She has an expertise in standardized testing programs utilized to prepare students for the NCLEX-RN examination and has researched NCLEX-RN outcomes related to academic and nonacademic variables. Other research has focused on minority nursing faculty related to recruitment, hiring and retention. She is a member of the Association of Community Health Nursing Educators, Sigma Theta Tau, Massachusetts Rhode Island League for Nursing, and National League for Nursing. She has an interest in global health and has participated in numerous mission trips to the Dominican Republic to deliver medical care.
