Reasonable Employment Accommodations for Students, Faculty, and Staff Members

Employees requesting accommodations based on religious or spiritual beliefs should contact the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX at civilrights.titleix@umb.edu.

• Employees seeking religious accommodations must provide a request in writing (from a clergy member or the employee) that states the religious belief to which the accommodation they are seeking relates.
• Requests for accommodations based on religious or spiritual beliefs will be reviewed by CRTIX, and the determination of reasonable accommodations may include discussions with the employee and their supervisor.
• CRTIX’s determinations with regard to accommodations may be further reviewed by the Vice Chancellor for Human Resources.
