Additional Information
The Evans group is a biological mass spectrometry laboratory. Currently, the group focuses on three main themes; using advanced methodologies to measure differential protein expression levels of complex protein extracts using 2D-HPLC-MS3, developing an LC-MS platform for the comprehensive speciation of complex mixtures of oils and fats, and developing small peptide inhibitors to support cancer research. We also run the core proteomics facility at UMass Boston and collaborate with various UMass Boston labs to provide support for protein identification, post-translational modification analysis, and accurate high resolution molecular weight confirmation.
