Black Men
Welcome to the online campus hub for resources, programs, and services to support Black Men. This online space is a testament to a UMass Boston campus and community that seeks to be a supportive environment that is attentive to the needs of historically marginalized groups. Systemic oppression in legal, economic, education, and healthcare systems has disproportionally disadvantaged individuals who are Black and male. Therefore, this resource hub aims to provide resources for Black Men in their educational and life journeys. It will be added to, updated, and facilitated by a partnership of several offices from Division of Student Affairs; the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Career Services; the Trotter Institute, and the Gastón Institute. This page is the part of a series of pages to support specific populations. A list of these pages and those in the planning stages can be found here.
