Forbes Names UMass Boston Among Massachusetts’ Best Employers for 2024
UMass Boston has been recognized as one of the top workplaces in Massachusetts, according to a list recently released by Forbes.
The university ranked No. 40 overall in Massachusetts, and third in the state’s education industry, in America’s Best Employers By State 2024.
Forbes surveyed 160,000 workers at companies nationwide, asking if they would recommend their employer to others, and to evaluate their employer based on working conditions, diversity, compensation packages, potential for growth, company image and more. Nearly 4.4 million employer evaluations were considered in the independent survey, which is open to companies from all industry sectors.
The recognition showcases UMass Boston’s investment in its exceptional faculty and staff, the university’s human core, investing in continuous professional development, mentorship, and health and well-being with a view to supporting faculty/staff success and fostering excellence throughout the university. UMass Boston previously ranked No. 45 on the 2023 Forbes list.
